___________________ As the major thoroughfare between Dallas and Chicago, over 26,400 vehicles pass daily directly infront of Willow Creek Development, as per the Oklahoma Department of Traffic surveys. Additionally McAlester represents the major city situated between Oklahoma City to the West, Tulsa, OK to the North, Fort Smith, AK to the East, and Dallas, TX to the South. This very high volume of traffic and central location makes Willow Creek Development an ideal location for commercial development with immediate successful results.

The Willow Creek Development is the first phase of developing the 468.93 mol acreage owned between McAlester and Krebs Oklahoma. The western portion of the property will be the first section to be developed to maximize the commercial retail area. This will be accomplished by the north – south creek realignment from Village Boulevard to the Arkansas-Oklahoma Railroad to the north. This realignment will provide a new mapping of the flood plane to maximize potential retail area as well as two detention ponds sized large enough to support the current and future land development's run-off from the required FEMA rain events. A new road system would be constructed from Village Boulevard to and around Walmart to the north with platted east/west roads connecting to the Highway 69 service road on the south side of Property 2 (Lot 92), north side of Lowe’s, the north side of Walmart or possibly a road directly into the Wade Watts Ave. underpass. As of March 28, 2007, a Conditional Letter of Map Revision (CLOMR) has been approved from the Department of Homeland Security's Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA).
